We can proudly state that all of our coaches are certified yearly, through the Professional Skaters Association, United Figure Skating, Learn to Skate USA, and they have all passed a compressive background screening & all have Safe Sport accreditation.
Because we hold ourselves to these high standards we have been awarded yearly the prestigious ranking of National Rink of Excellence (Excellence on Ice)

Martine de la Torre - Skating Director
Martine has over 40 years of coaching experience in Freestyle, Figures, Moves in the Field, Choreography, Basic Skills, and Special Needs programs. She has coached all ages from Beginner Basic skills levels to Intermediate levels. She has continuously maintained her status with the Professional Skaters Association, United Figure Skating, Learn to skate the USA, Special Olympics, as well as adhering to all background checks and safe sport guidelines. Martine has a degree in Nutrition and has been able to use it to counsel and help many skaters throughout her career. For the past six years Martine has proudly taken the roll of Skating Director at Palm Beach Ice works dedicating her time to growing an amazing program and working with Outstanding world and Olympic coaches.

Ken Congemi
Ken Congemi has been coaching competitive figure skating for over 40 years and during this time he has worked with World and Olympic athletes from all over the World. The list is extensive and includes elite skaters such as Evan Lysacek, Mirai Nagasu, Jennifer Kirk, Denis Ten, and Bebe Liang. He has coached three US Junior Men’s Champions and is highly regarded for his exceptional jumping and spinning technique as well as his motivational abilities.
Congemi is Master rated in free skating and holds a PSA level VII ranking. He is the former Director of skating for the Walt Disney Company and the NY Islanders and worked alongside World-renowned coach Frank Carroll for 15 years. Congemi has conducted seminars throughout the United States and the World and was the keynote speaker at the 2007 Professional Skaters’ Worldwide conference. He was also featured with his student Bebe Liang in TLC‘s TV miniseries, Ice Diaries.

Erik Larson
Erik is a USFS Triple Gold Medalist & was on Team USA for 10 years, and is an Olympic Festival and World Junior Champion and has one gold Grand Prix medal. He Is also 4 time U.S. National Medalist. He trained with Olympic coach Carlo Fassi at The Broadmoor World Arena where he invented "The Larson Spin".
1992 Erik toured in China/U.S. with Dorothy Hamill's Ice Capades Cinderella on Ice. Playing the fun loving character
of "Button's". Jimmy Osmond hired Erik and Rosie his wife to perform with The Osmond Brothers, the cast also performed at The MGM Grand/Rivera hotel in Las Vegas.
After touring in professional ice shows for 10 years, he was hired on to be the Director Of Skating at The Sunrise Ice Skating Center. His duties were to over see the USFS Learn to Skate Program.
Erik is the proud owner of BellaICE Skating Events which is a portable synthetic ice skating
company. One of our yearly event's include Christmas On Los Olas.

Rosie Larson
Rosie started skating at the age of 6. She competed for over 15 years
and is a Regional & Seconal Champion & the 1990 U.S. National Pair
alternate at the junior level. When Rosie turned pro at 21 she joined Ice Capade’s performing for thousands of people all over the world.
Jimmy Osmond was instrumental in hiring Rosie as a principal performer for The Osmond Family theater. The main headliners were Donny and Marie Osmond and the Brothers. Rosie stated “That was the highlight of my professional skating career” In 2000 The Larson’s decided to settle in beautiful south Florida and teach skating at The Sunrise Skating Center, then moving on to The Palm Beach Skate Zone. Erik & Rosie have a beautiful daughter Anabelle, she is a 2 time U.S. National Dance Solo Champion.
MISSION STATEMENT: To inspire, inform, and encourage every skater she teaches. With those aspects she hopes that her skaters fall in love with the sport. Rosie teaches all levels, Choreographing competitive skaters & getting them ready to compete at their highest performance level. Both Rosie and her husband Erik are very proud & excited to be apart of Palm Beach Ice Works!

Anabelle Larson
Miss Anabelle Larson, currently a senior student at FLVS, has been actively involved in the art of ice skating since the age of two. Being from a family with a deep-rooted passion for ice skating, Bella, as she is affectionately known, has been competing for over 15 years. She has achieved remarkable success in her career, boasting three U.S. National titles and a U.S. National Silver Medal. Currently, she holds the prestigious distinction of being a double U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist, with aspirations of earning two more Gold Medals.
One of Bella's greatest strengths lies in her unwavering love for the sport, which she imparts to students of all ages through the Learn to Skate program and private lessons. Additionally, Bella derives immense joy from performing and choreographing for solo dance and competitive skaters. The Larson family supports over 20 competitive skaters who travel and compete both within and outside their state.
In 2023, Bella attended The Professional Skaters Association Summit in Orlando, Florida, where she furthered her knowledge in teaching and attended lectures on solo ice dance, spinning, jumping, and choreography delivered by esteemed coaches from the World and Olympic levels. Bella also had the opportunity to showcase her skills as a professional performer at The Everglades Club in Palm Beach, and she is scheduled to perform at The Dade County Fair in Miami later this spring. Bella is immensely grateful to be a part of The Palm Beach Ice Works family and looks forward to continuing her pursuit of excellence in the world of ice

Ashley Couture
Ashley Couture is a dedicated figure skating coach with 13 years of experience on the ice and 4 years of coaching skaters of all ages and levels. Ashley has a strong background in Basic / Aspire Levels / and Moves in the Field, bringing both technical knowledge and a deep love of the sport to every lesson.
Coach Ashley specializes in foundational skating and Basic / Aspire Level Competitions, tailoring instruction to each skater’s unique needs and goals. Whether working with beginners just learning their first steps or competitive skaters preparing for tests and competitions, Ashley focuses on building strong foundations, confidence, and a lifelong passion for skating.
Coaching philosophy: “Every skater is unique. My goal is to inspire confidence, encourage creativity, and help each student grow both on and off the ice.”

Ocean Andre-Pearson
Born and raised in Michigan, Ocean grew up on the ice. She joined her first figure skating team at the age of 10 and quickly discovered a lifelong passion for the sport. Starting at Basic 1, she has passed and competed in nearly every level of figure skating, ultimately earning her U.S. Figure Skating (USFSA) Gold Medal in Moves in the Field.
Today, Ocean is a professional show skater and continues to train and perform both nationally and internationally, including time training in Gstaad, Switzerland, and working with world-renowned coaches.
As a coach, Ocean works with skaters of all ages and abilities — from beginners in Snowplow Sam (1–4) and Basic Skills (1–6), to advanced levels (Aspire 1-4, Pre-Preliminary-Gold), as well as Adult (1–8) programs. She also has experience coaching Hockey 1–6 and Power Hockey 1–4, and she specializes in edge work and power skating, helping both figure skaters and hockey players of all levels improve their technique and elevate their performance on the ice.
Ocean’s coaching philosophy is that success on the ice is built on a foundation of passion and determination. Ocean believes that when skaters and players stay deeply connected to their love for the sport and bring unwavering commitment to their goals, they unlock their true potential. Gracie Prince
Gracie is a highly accomplished figure skating coach with over 14 years of experience in the sport. Her passion for figure skating began at a young age and since then has dedicated herself to mastering the art and technique of skating.
As a 2x USFS gold medalist Gracie has an in-depth understanding of the physical, technical, and mental aspects of the sport. Throughout her competitive career, she has received numerous awards and accolades. Her personal journey in figure skating has instilled in her a deep appreciation for the discipline, dedication, and resilience required to succeed in the sport.
Gracie's coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every skater has unique strengths and abilities that can be cultivated and refined with the right guidance and support. Therefore it is important to alter coaching methods to suit each individual skater's needs and goals. Whether she is working with beginners taking their first steps on the ice, elite athletes striving for podium finishes or perfecting your edgework, speed and skating skills, Gracie is committed to helping her students reach their full potential. She is also deeply invested in creating a positive and inclusive training environment where skaters feel supported, motivated, and empowered to pursue their passion for figure skating. Tracey Potter
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia Tracey has dedicated her life to the sport of figure skating. She was a competitive ice skater for over 10 years and skated in many professional ice shows. With over two decades of experience in coaching both figure skating and hockey, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the ice. Tracey is a level 3 ranked and a certified figure skating coach with The Professional Figure Skating Association and specializes in freestyle skating, moves in the field, choreography, power and edge skating, solo ice dance, Special Olympics and proficiency in the International Judging System (IJS). Throughout her career, Tracey has had the privilege of learning from esteemed mentors such as Don Laws, Kathy Casey, and Tommy Litz. Their guidance and wisdom have been invaluable in shaping her coaching philosophy and approach to training styles. Over the past 26 years, Tracey has coached numerous athletes to success at regional and junior national levels, along with training hockey players to perform at D1 colleges. She has also had the privilege of working with international athletes from countries such as Finland and Canada. As a dedicated and experienced figure skating and power skating coach and an athlete herself Tracey is committed to empowering athletes to reach their full potential on and off the ice. With a focus on technical excellence, creativity, and sportsmanship, she strives to instill a lifelong love for the sport in all those she coaches.

Jennifer Andrews
Jen grew up in Georgia and has been an athlete her entire life, participating in cheerleading, gymnastics, softball, and tennis. She went on to coach beginner gymnastics as well as All-Star cheerleading squads of all ages.
Having grown up watching figure skating on tv, Jen always dreamed of becoming a figure skater. She began her own skating journey as an adult and has since competed in several adult competitions. She has passed the Adult Pre-Bronze Skating Skills test and her ultimate goal is to pass each level through Gold.
Jen is excited to share her love of skating with the next generation by coaching Learn To Skate classes.

Kate Lynn Lester
Kate Lynn Lester (Katya) is a USFS certified coach with a vast skating background and more than 25 years of experience.
As a young athlete Katya competed nationally and internationally winning ISU World Mentor Toruń Cup and National Spartakiad of Russia.
After graduating from The Ural State University with a Masters degree in PR and advertising, Kate worked as a Principal Performer in world-class ice shows, skating in pairs, solo and performing aerial lyra special acts.
Kate is proud to be a part of The Skating Club of Florida and feels grateful to have the opportunity to inspire and pass along the love of the sport to the next generation of figure skaters.

Laurilee Ann Gudiño
Laurilee Ann Gudiño is a highly respected USFS-certified coach and choreographer with
over 35 years of experience training skaters of all levels—from beginners to elite competitive
and professional athletes from around the world. Her passion lies in guiding skaters to reach
their full potential, combining technical excellence with artistic expression.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Laurilee is an international principal star of the renowned
*Holiday on Ice* World Tour, where she performed across Europe, South America, and the
Far East. She has shared the ice with Olympic and World Champions such as Robin
Cousins, Denise Biellmann, and Norbert Schramm, among others.
Beyond the rink, Laurilee is the founder and creative force behind **Rosstyn Ice Shows &
Rink Designs, Inc.** For over three decades, she has produced award-winning ice-skating
productions for theme parks, theaters, casinos, state fairs, and international television
specials. In 2010, her company received the *Best Sports Show* award from the **IAAPA**
(International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions).
